Self-Propelled Nut Harvester
The latest technology from Weiss/McNair, the Magnum 2000 nut harvester. It features a 48 inch straight thru pickup, separation, and elevation system with an airlock between the dirt chain to control dust. The enlarged vacuum and separation chamber provides a cleaner load at faster ground speed. The Magnum 2000 is powered by a John Deere Power Tech 4045 turbo-charged 125HP diesel engine. The engine is rear mounted which allows for good visibility to the back, a quieter cooler operator area, and a lighter picking head that doesn't sink into soft dirt. The rear mounted engine puts weight over the drive wheels to provide increased traction.
